Positive, We had a wonderful stay in a deluxe queen room. The inn had a charming, 40s/50s vibe, and the staff went above and beyond to have our room ready early. Dinner on the porch was delightful, and breakfast was a great start to our day. Overall, a fantastic experience! 😊

The location made exploring town so easy, and
the historical charm added to the experience. Our Standard Queen Room was clean and cozy, and the staff went above and beyond, especially when we needed a ride to the train station. Just be mindful of possible transportation issues in the area.

The breakfast variety was quite nice, and I enjoyed the unique experience of selecting my own soap for the stay.
The room temperature was challenging to manage, as the air conditioning was uncontrollable and left us rather cold during the night.

I also expected a complimentary welcome gift for all this inconvenience but was utterly disappointed. I almost gave this place a good review, but just couldn’t.

Charming antique furnishings throughout the inn.
Upon arrival, I was frustrated to find the TV wasn't working because of a broken plug, which took too long to fix after an exhausting day. The continental breakfast was a letdown, lacking variety and essentials like yogurt or juice. Also, parking was a hassle as I had to find street parking until the restaurant's lot emptied.

Charming but needs some TLC
Waking up to the quaint charm of Montpelier was delightful. The community fridge and lovely breakfast variety were nice touches, adding a homely feel to my stay.
However, my room's heating issues made for a very uncomfortable night, and I was disappointed that no one answered my calls for help. A struggle, indeed!

The spacious room with a desk provided great comfort for my work needs. Breakfast included delicious grab-and-go options like muffins, perfect for a quick start. Dinner at the in-house restaurant, featuring hand-made pasta, was a highlight with a delightful atmosphere. However, the furnishings seemed dated, and there were maintenance issues like broken blinds and worn carpets that detracted from the overall experience.
